Don't miss a visit to Andraz Castle, located in a strategic position to control the communication routes that in the Middle Ages already connected the territories of Belluno and of the Serenissima with the areas located to the north, belonging to the bishop of Bressanone-Bolzano.
The mining activity of the nearby Mount Fursil was very interesting and of considerable importance until the middle of the 18th century. The extracted mineral was brought for processing to mountain farms of Valparola in nearby Val Badia valley and passed right in front of the Castle.
